Lasts 1-3 years depending on age, lifestyle, skin maturity, oilness/dryness, sun exposure, overall health.

Lip Blushing
Lip Blushing
Wish you lips were a specific color all of the time? Hate reapplying color to your lips?
How does it work?
A tiny pen-like machine and a very small needle are used to gently deposit pigment into the lips. This slowly builds a beautifully natural lip color. Micropigmentation allows us to build the color gradually so that we have full control over the boldness of the lip color. Color and boldness are based on client preference.
Will it look like lipstick?
Natural Lips or Lip Blush is a technique that produces more of a "nude lip," or "lip tint," result, however, everybody's skin takes the tattoo differently. I always start light and we can build color on touchup.
How long does it last?
The retention rate of the lip tattoo depends on different factors such as the color you choose, your lifestyle, touchups, and how you care for them before and after your appointment. On average, Lip Blush fades away within 2-5 years, with most people wanting a touch up yearly.
How long does the appointment take?
The first appointment takes 2-3 hours, and the touch up takes about 1- 2 hours.
Can we go outside of the lipline?
Yes, only 2mm. The skin on the lips is not the same as on the face and things can look unnatural or get unpredictable when we tattoo too far outside the natural lipline.
What is the healing process?
Some swelling and tenderness after the procedure is normal and may last a day or so. Your lips may look like you got lip filler, however, this is normal and typically subsides within the first 24 hours. Also, your lips will appear darker for the first few days. Lips have the easiest and fastest healing. It only takes about 4-5 days to heal. During this time, you will need to apply ointment as your lips will be chapped.
Can I still get a lip tattoo if I have lip filler?
Yes! In no way does having Lip filler interfere with the process of tattooing lips or the results. Note that lip filler and lip blush appointments MUST be at least 4 weeks apart from each other.
Is It Painful?
Lips are one of the most sensitive areas of the human body. They contain more than a million nerve endings. However, we use the strongest numbing products we can to keep you comfortable and most clients do not feel much after the first pass!
Do you have previous permanent makeup done by an artist outside of ilash & ibrow bar?
Please email italia@ilashibrowbar.com clear and well lit photos of both eyebrows.
Feel free to schedule an appointment once you receive a response with approval.
Please book a new client appointment regardless of work that has been previously done. A removal may be necessary before additional tattooing.
Nano Strokes
This technique is a form of cosmetic tattoo that mimics the look of hair strokes to create hyper-realistic eyebrows. It gives the brows volume and definition by adding fine hair strokes between the natural hairs.
Powder Brows
This technique is ALL shading using a handheld machine. Powder brows provides a more bold look to make your brows appear more like makeup was applied. Results for this technique can be natural or dramatic. It is also the least invasive, and longest lasting method.
Combo Machine Brows
This technique is a combination of nano strokes and powder brows to create a natural but more defined look. Because this method allows the most flexibility, it can be both natural and dramatic depending on the look you are going for.

Post Care- How to care & What to expect each day
-
How to care- Blot your brows for the first 24 hours of any lymphatic fluid. Try your best to not get them wet AT ALL unless you’re cleaning.
What to expect- Bold and dark brows. Some people love them right after and others feel like they are very dramatic. Any swelling or redness is normal. Brows can even look uneven because of swelling.
-
How to care- Use a gentle cleaner every morning and night to clean your brows. Be gentle and make sure to rinse soap and blot dry.
What to expect- Brows could be the same as day 1 or darker and still red and/or swollen which is normal.
-
How to care- Use a gentle cleaner every morning and night to clean your brows. Be gentle and make sure to rinse soap and blot dry.
What to expect- If your brows itch, do not scratch. There may be scabs forming and your brows may not look the same, Do not worry, as this is completely normal and part of the process. Please do not peel the scabs as this can ruin your tattoo.
-
How to care- You do not have to continue the strict wash routine. Even though the skin is still healing, if it seems the brow is more healed, you can discontinue using the balm provided.
What to expect- Your scabs may be flaking if they have not already came off. Do not peel them off, let it peel naturally. If there are some areas that are lighter or darker or even mis colored (grey) or missing areas so not panic, this is normal and needs more time to heal.
-
What to expect- Brow color should return and you should see the pattern created just for you. Keep in mind, you still need a required touch up.
-
What to expect- Your brows should be completely healed! Your touch up appointment should be coming up and this is where you can decide if you want to possibly add or change anything. Depending on how your brows retained the pigment, we can add more color and strokes or shading if needed since everyone’s skin and body is so different.
